EVERYONE who is purchasing a home, in other words YOU!
It is one of the most important items on your to do list when you find a home that you want to purchase.
And there are a couple of inspections everyone here in the Rio Grande Valley need to get.
One is the Home Inspection-
This consists of a Texas Licensed Inspector who gives you a whole house visual inspection. They look in:
- The crawl space,
- At your foundation,
- Look for structural issues,
- At the roof,
- Air conditioner if any, and
- Electrical
All these are important areas that could cost you down the road that you would not know about had you not gotten the inspection.
Also important is the WDI or Wood Destroying Insects (or organisms). This will be a separate charge as it takes a different licensing to prove knowledge in this expertise.
If you are purchasing a home that has a Septic System, it should be inspected as well.
